Solace:
Solace,
Jeremiah M. Soto, is a very talented man who, after discovering
a lot of Middle Eastern dance music had no emotions, no depth
and did not even try to "reach outside of the box,"
went on to create his own music full of what he believed was
missing. According to Solace: The songs must have meaning, passion and depth,
and must sound clear and clean, as if the musicians were right
there with you. That is why I founded Eventide Music
Productions, to give myself and others a platform for the three
X’s: expression, experiment, and exploration–without borders
or boundaries. For me, rhythm is the most important factor
behind Middle Eastern Dance Music. It is the heartbeat of the
music and the dance. Without the heart the body dies. Without a
soul, the body ceases to exist. That is why with Solace the
rhythms are so prominent and the music is dark and deep. All of
these elements combined can make for a powerful song that
conveys emotion and a sense of relationship for the individual
listener. I hope that people listen and understand that you don’t
have to put yourself in a box. Life is to explore and
express.
